Verse 1

I ate nothing for breakfast, nothing for dessert/I’m hungry with no money, about to go berserk/It’s gotten to the point people are asking am I fasting/And I tell them, “There’s no food in the kitchen cabinet”/Last I checked I had some Raman and some aspirin/And my roommate, he ate half of the Raman package/I’m feeling sick, I’m minutes from collapsing/Because my health took a leave of absence/I’d better if I wasn’t failing half of my classes/I’m older than my grade and I keep getting “Fantastics”/And I still feel like hurling, I broke up with my girlfriend/My computer was acting dumb, but not it’s not working/My car’s has got mind of its own, its hard to maneuver/I got in three accidents, so now I’m a MARTA commuter/It’s days like this when I wonder, why do I even bother/A guy wants change I say, “No”/He screams and hollers, but I’m so broke he should give me a dollar

I know we’ll see more trouble the more that we live/But on the real Lord, you want me to glory in this/I’ve got so-called friends destroying me with, lies and deception/And I’m implored to forgive/And either cops love me, or they target Christians/How else can you explain how hard they tempt them/On my way to pay a ticket I get a parking ticket/I come back a week later and my car is missing/It looks like it was towed, but it really makes no difference/When I just spent all my money paying parking tickets/I get pulled over again and grab license/When this cop sprays my face with his salvia/Yelling he doesn’t think I’m the best of drivers/Leaving me to figure out what in the world have I done/I’m angry to say the least, trying to forget about this jerk/Bu I’m only thinking I had nothing for breakfast, nothing for dessert/And I’m hungry
